The Writing Center
The Writing Center is a new addition at Pace High School. Mrs. Palacio is working with the University Writing Center at St. Thomas University to give Pace students free tutoring and assistance with writing. Two tutors from St. Thomas University are on campus from 2:30 to 3:30 every Tuesday in Room 523 to help students write reports, essays, and any other writing assignment related to all subjects, including history, science, literature, and religion. In order for students to succeed in all of their courses, they must practice the written form, and these tutors are here to help.
Room 523 is equipped with computers and supplemental writing materials to assist students in various subjects.
If a student needs to type an assignment, a flash drive is required in order to save work.
By ordering a flash drive through Pexagon Tech, not only will you be able personalize your flash drive in a variety of colors, slogans, and logos, but a portion of the cost will go towards funding the Writing Center with software, writing supplies, and more supplemental materials.
