LEAD Acceptance for Pace High School Student

Jose Sera, sophomore at Monsignor Pace High School, received a special invitation to enter the LEAD Summer Engineering Institute at Georgia Institute of Technology! The LEAD Institute provides 30 students with first-hand experience in the world of engineering through a three-week program. Jose, along with the rest of his peers, will attend classes, participate in team-building exercises, take field trips to several engineering organizations, and participate in a competitive case study analysis presentation to engineering and corporate leaders. Jose was selected for his academic excellence and exceptional writing ability, and Pace hopes to see more inspiring engineers following his lead.
Pace High School Student Receives National Honor

The National Society of High School Scholars (NSHSS) announced that Pace student, Raul A. Alsina, has been selected for membership. The Society recognizes top scholars and invites only those students who have achieved superior academic excellence. The announcement was made by NSHSS founder and Chairman Mr. Nobel, a senior member of the family that established the Nobel Prizes. Membership entitles students to enjoy a wide variety of benefits, including scholarship opportunities, academic competitions, free events, member-only resources, publications, participation in programs offered by educational partners, online forums, personalized recognition items, and publicity honors.
Rolando Machado Jr. Graduates for the U.S. Naval Academy

Rolando Machado Jr., class of 2005, graduated from the United States Naval Academy in Annapolis,
Maryland on May 22, 2009. Roly (as we know him) will be stationed to the USS Donald Cook in mid-July. Best wishes from your Pace Family.
